Walk To Work Day at a Glance
Walk to Work Day encourages Nashvillian's to walk to work for the day and to continue walking to work throughout the year. The Community Health and Wellness Team sets up shop at various locations around town to provide free breakfast to walkers that pass-by and to promote the benefits of walking.
For those that live too far from work to safely participate, we encourage you to consider adding steps to your daily activities. For example, if you ride the bus, get off a stop early and walk the rest of your commute. If you must drive to work, park at a farther point than normal, and walk in. Every step counts!
